The program was presented by members of the Alva Fire Department.  Michael Pcolar shared a point presentation describing the facilities, equipment and personnel of the fire department.  Further comments were addressed to the need to expand the department so that at least two fire fighters and an emergency medical person are available at all times.  A proposal to increase the fire department funding by one mil per thousand dollars of valuation will be on the November ballot.  All were urged to consider the proposal carefully and vote in the election.
